The National Museum of Singapore will get transformed into a giant instrument, the "Earth Harp", by musician and inventor William Close. A crossover between architecture and music, it creates a cello-like tone when its strings are strummed. Members of the public can take turns trying their hands on the smaller version of this "Earth Harp" within the museum itself (22-30 Aug). William Close will also perform his "Earth Harp" with opera troupe 7 Sopranos and ZingO drum group (22-23 Aug) as well as pyrotechnics and acrobatic act Phoenix (29-30 Aug) for a visual and audio spectacle. Part of SNF 2014.
