Take a trip into the world of Singaporean tradesmen, and learn about how they've coped with the challenge of changing times. From traditional goldsmiths to letter writers and farmers, the exhibition sheds light on personal stories, sacrifices, passions, and adaptability. In conjunction with the exhibition, there will be a special series of street theatre performances and trade demonstrations, for example a 'Wayang Kulit' performance (25 May) – a puppet show telling the tale of 'Singapura', and the Indian epic 'Ramayana', and a traditional rattan basket weaving demo (26 May).
