The permanent collection features specimens of Singapore’s currency, from rare objects used in barter trade like tin timpang (metal weights) to the present day’s plastic notes, as well as coins from countries like Japan, Papau New Guinea and India. An old minting machine is installed for visitors to press their own coin as a souvenir.
