Museums, attractions and events in Singapore
Did you know?
Though it’s illegal to own a firearm in Singapore, you are allowed to lock and load – in a private, regulated environment. The Singapore Gun Club in Bukit Timah features a clay target range, trap machines and a ‘down the line’ shooting gallery that requires the shooter to nail five clay targets. This isn’t just a place for cheap thrills though – the Bukit Timah clubhouse once served as a pre-WWII British Army ammunitions depot. The Gun Club also performs crowculling services for the community (under supervision) – last year they netted 1,233 crows and the most recent hunt on 21 September yielded 98. Needless to say, animal lovers might want to stay away.
