Kimi-Matias Räikkönen's autograph is officially worth $5,000 – that's how much a motorbike helmet with two of his signatures fetched at an auction held yesterday by Clear shampoo at the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia. The opening bid was $1,000 and it took no more than ten minutes for the hammer to drop at five grand. A baby helmet, also signed by the Lotus F1 team's top driver, sold for $900. The auction jumpstarted Helmet for Heads, a global initiative by Clear that supports the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety. Nearly 1.3 million people are killed on the world’s roads each year. A helmet signed by Lotus' second-ranking driver Romain Grosjean will be auctioned on eBay Singapore soon. Maina Harjani
