Jewel Box
Take wining and dining to new heights at Mount Faber’s crown…er, jewel. Owned and operated by the Mount Faber Leisure Group, the award-winning Jewel Box is an F&B/entertainment complex that includes the stunning Glass Bar, Faber Rock, Altivo and the Faber Hill Bistro. In fine weather, Bistro patrons can supposedly catch a glimpse of neighbouring islands like Bintan and Batam, while Glass Bar customers can admire an unobstructed view of the harbour. Jewel Box’s other claim to fame? It’s the only local fine-dining establishment accessible via cable car. It’s even been credited as having the world’s best toilet, which should make you curious as to what the best toilet in the world looks like.
Jewel Box was included in our One Night Stand feature.

I wanted to go there and dine. But seems like all the feedback is so bad. But I never been there before. Thought I'd want to experience it.
haha looks like so far all the comments have been on the negative side! Wonder if anyone has a positive experience at all! I have always wanted to try the Jewel Box for all its so called 'specialities', but looks like now I will just have to skip it!!
Have been living in SG for 8 years, it's my worst experience in a restaurant. Food mediocre and expensive (same dish is cheaper in St Regis), the worst service ever, gives food without cuttleries, wait 5 minutes each time to get them, food comes at ridiculous pace, we waited 30 minutes for our main... Extremely loosy manager who tells us that he will offer discount due to "unacceptable" service , he used unacceptable, then the bill came no discount on the bill... That summarizes all... They will close soon...
had dinner with my love at jewel box black opal. ordered prawn olio oilo, the pasta tasted so blend i thought they forgot the sauce. You pay the price for the view, not the food. Still, not worth it, you can see the same view from mount faber anyway. Rate it 3 out of 5 stars.
the previous post deserves a gud laugh
Just had lunch with my family at the Jewel Box (saphire) and I must say it was very disappointing. Without realising, I think we just drank the most expensive apple juice and tomato juice in Singapore (11 S$ +++) which in both cases where more ice than canned juice. The food we had (Bimbimbab, pizza and Pho) where okayish but nothing to write how about and expensive for the quality and quantity. Just spend over 100 S$ in total food and left very disappointed.
