This hillside Buddhist complex, founded in the 1920s, contains classic Chinese temple structures, tranquil gardens, a tortoise pool, a crematorium and a majestic bell and drum tower. Housed in the Pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas are thousands of mini Buddhas (inside the main stupa) and one of the largest bronze Medicine Buddhas in South-east Asia. Bishan MRT stop is quite a distance away; you can catch a bus to the monastery, but the easiest option is to take a taxi.
