As the 3D film Pirates (starring Leslie Nielsen and Eric Idle) plays on the screen, the 4D element comes from the vibrating seats and sensory effects such as water sprays and leg ticklers. It’s strictly for children – and expensive, considering that the effects are hardly thrilling.
