Singapore’s largest museum re-opened in December 2006 after a $118 million makeover and comprises two main galleries: the Singapore History Gallery, which traces the history of Singapore from its beginnings in the 14th century to the present day, and the Singapore Living Galleries, which focus on four life-style themes – food, fashion, film & wayang, and photography. They also have occasional film showings.
