The past, present and future of public housing in Singapore are mapped out at this multi-media gallery. Intriguing displays include ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs of all the island’s 24 new towns and housing estates, and a giant pin model showing 50 years of HDB block designs. The Future sector is a let-down, though: the ‘virtual lift’ that leads to the ‘50th storey skybridge’ is extremely dull, as are the gadgets in the e-Home display.
