A friend and I did the Kampong house class on Puala Ubin a couple of weeks ago. It was a great class. You learn a lot, get great hands on experience and Ruqxan is a good teacher.

Just wanted to put a note up about this cooking school as I've done quite a number of classes there now. I've done Singaporean, Indian, Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese classes so far and I've enjoyed all of them. The setting is very relaxed, the teacher friendly and knowledgeable and the classes are also good value, especially compared to the others I've tried in Singapore. I've also done the Kampong house class on Puala Ubin run by this school, which was a fun way of seeing the island (take along the mosquito spray!)
