‘Surrounded by Water’ was an initiative that was established in Manila in 1998 as an alternative art space for young artists to express themselves without restraint. Although the final project closed in 2006, many of their previous members have since moved on to enjoy more successful careers. This exhibition strives to revisit its past by bringing together nine of their most important artists, and is part of the Philippine Art Trek.
