Fine-art course

Uniqarts
The relaxing environment and support should be more than enough to wash the self-consciousness away. The main point is to enjoy the experience. No one’s going to judge, unless it’s absolutely amazing and worth selling.
$385 for 8 sessions, plus $30 registration fee and $205 one-time compulsory fee for materials. Mon 1-2.30pm.

The Right Way to Draw

The Substation
Run by TOS’s former Art & Design editor Tania De Rozario, this class introduces students to the basics of representational drawing with pencil and charcoal. While this isn’t for the absolute beginner, you’d do well to sign up if you’re interested.
$260 for six sessions, includes materials. Saturdays 28 Apr-9 Jun, 2-5pm.

Portfolio Class

ArtBug
Designed for students wanting to improve on their ‘O’- and ‘A’-level art skills, this class is open to all who are interested in building up a body of work. Expect to design cityscapes and learn creative exercises to get your drawing dynamo working.
$58 per lesson; $250 for 5 lessons. Tue 10am-12.30pm, Thu 7-9.30pm.
