Featuring interactive installation works by Shinji Ohmaki, Justin Lee and more, plus the return of Dawn Ng’s ‘Walter’
Don’t miss the final weeks of the Singapore Art Museum’s annual Art Garden, up this year for the third year running, which is designed to create an innovative and interactive art environment for younger audiences. This year’s edition compiles several works seen previously around town, such as Shinji Ohmaki’s floral-patterned ‘Echoes-Infinity’ (above), which allows viewers to create their own marks by tromping around directly on the art itself, and Cultural Medallion winner Lee Wen’s circular ‘Ping Pong Go-Round’, in which players in the centre of the piece can take on multiple opponents at once (note: it’s a play on ‘ping pong diplomacy’ and different types of interaction).
