Galeri Nila

One of two public art venues located in Fort Canning Park opposite Liang Court, Galeri Nila re-opened in September 2011 after two years of refurbishment works. Housed within the old changing-room block of the former River Valley Swimming Complex, the gallery focuses on art inspired by nature; past exhibitions have included ‘The Nature of Print’ by Marisa Keller and ‘Residue 2.0’ by Marcel Heijnen. Both Galeri Nila and its sister gallery Galeri Utama, located next door, are designed for arts- and culture-related events; Galeri Nila can be rented out for exhibitions.
