Indigo Blue Art

This Indian import opened in Singapore in 2004, seeking to capitalise on the burgeoning popularity of the subcontinent’s vibrant contemporary art scene. Since then, Indigo’s quaint shop house on Neil Road has played host to everything from the modern to folk and tribal art, showcasing new talent as well as household names. Past exhibitions include Dhaneshwar Shah’s collection of animal paintings and Thotha Vaikuntum’s series on the native Telengana women. Exhibitions are on all year round and the 2,500 sq ft, two-storey gallery space is available for rent.
