With a base in over 90 countries around the world, the Goethe-Institut serves as a cultural ambassador for Germany, working alongside local partners to introduce German art and cultural understanding to Singapore. The Goethe-Institut Gallery specialises exclusively in German art, and workshops are run from time to time alongside certain exhibitions (as advertised on their website). As the gallery is rather small in size, larger exhibitions are often held at the premises of local partners.
