Since it was set up in 1998, the cultural wing of the Ngee Ann Kongsi has sought to promote awareness of Teochew heritage among Singaporeans through the medium of visual and performing arts. In their campaign to keep it old-school, the NACC has made its Annual National Teochew artists Art & Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition the highlight of its cultural calendar.
