Visited 2902 Gallery during the inaugural Singapore International Photography Festival just 2 months back... & I was very impressed! Definitely worth the effort of climbing up the stairs...

I went there yesterday- 31/08, Sunday wanting to spend my birthday immersed in art and serenity. To my disappointment, all e restaurants & galleries were closed even though they're supposed to be open? In fact, e operating hrs states Til 5pm on Sun for the galleries and Bistro GaGa. So why is the Cafe closed at 4pm?? I'm unsure if i need to call to let all e galleries knw i will be coming so they can keep it open *Ha!*? A little help anyone? The only place that was in operation was Sinema. But we were hungry & tired of hitting closed doors so we head down 2 Cathay & spend e rest of e day there. Having said these, I am still keen to go back, so can i know wat i should do to experience "Old Sch" to the fullest?

Yes, Sinema is a nice place. I think most of it are ready. I went there last week to watch a nostalgic Singapore film and saw a restaurant there with live band. There is also a gallery there... A nice place to chill...

He's an architect and one of the 3 people who run the whole thing. His office is where tho old general office of MGS (cool huh). There is a Sinema (singaporean cinema) which only shows films from singapore. Old School isn't completely ready but you should check it out if you haven't been there yet.

I work here and this space is great! Very chill, very spacious and peaceful. Only gripe is the 137 steps u need to climb to reach the school. There are 2 food joints here too, "Recess" and "Bistro GaGa". Come check the place out and be old-skool..
