I like Books Actually. It's a smart shop for smart people who truly like to think about the words on the page. I found the range of titles eclectic. And no, it wasn't pretentious, or members only clique like too many great little places in Singapore. I recommend a visit, especially on days when they hold in store events.

I find that Books Actually is quite a romantic place to be. Perhaps may even meet your soul mate ….. Imagine two books lovers falling in love at first sight on a rainy afternoon when they dashed into the store lookin for shelter and chanced upon this beautiful place with good books………..
