A Mixology Adventure
To kick off a new drinks programme for 2014, Horse’s Mouth bar will be working with New York’s Altamarea group of restaurants, starting with a visit from molecular mixologist Eben Freeman and his team. Widely regarded as something of a cocktail magician for his unique flavours and presentation tricks, Freeman earned his cred at the helm of New York bars like wd~50, Eleven Madison Park and Tailor – he also dabbled in Singaporean flavours in a previous visit here as part of the World Gourmet Summit’s 2009 Cocktail All Stars event. He’ll be working with his team to come up with some new offerings for the Horse’s Mouth menu, so expect some unique serves of classical and modern cocktails, personally shaken up by Freeman, Michael Longshore and Rob Cryan while they’re here.
