Time Out says

You won’t have to fly to Koh Pha-ngan for this party! On September 24, No.5 Emerald Hill’s infamous annual indoor beach party is back to turn up in the city. The two-year hiatus is over and this one-night-only party is unlike any other on Emerald Hill. So ditch your sneakers and turn up in your flip-flops – or barefoot – as the iconic bar brings the sandy shores to its heritage Peranakan shophouse, literally.

Sand on your feet, surfboards hung up on the walls, and coconuts hanging all about – basically, you’ll find all things tropical that are picture-perfect for your gram. We know what you’re thinking – you’re considering showing up in beachwear just to look the part. By all means, dress up to the theme because you will be handsomely rewarded with a surprise welcome cocktail on the house.

That’s not all. Like the full-moon parties, there will be booze and lots of them. Think beer buckets, frozen margaritas, potent shots and a beer bong you could drink from. But the best part? Your joyful inebriation won’t wake you up with a hole in your pocket as there are drink promotions tailored for every budget. Think frozen margaritas ($18) but you can’t claim to have been to No.5 if you’ve not had the Blue Somerita ($28). The adventurous tipple is a lime margarita slushie with a cider bottle stuck in the middle.

But if cocktails aren’t your cup of tea, go for the crisp Carlsberg smooth draught or refreshing Somersby cider (both $50 for 5). Looking to get lit? There are Don Julio Reposado tequila shots ($50 for 5) and margarita shooters ($78 for 12) for the gungho. Don Julio Reposado tequila bottles also only go for $180. All this fun without the sun sounds like proper fun.
