This is one event where you won’t have to worry about flashing your ID for entry. Held over two nights, the Beatnik Picnic will bring together arts and crafts, poetry, silk-screening, body art and drumming. But fear not, for there will be noise. Aussie electro-pop band Van She (pictured) will make merry with sounds from its upcoming album V. Hong, the newest addition to Zouk’s stable of spin-meisters, will also set the mood with a set of indie-dance zingers. Oh, and did we mention there’ll be fireworks too? Lights, music and lots of action are guaranteed.
