A noticeable saloon-esque scent greeted us on first entry to Country Jamboree (we’re still not quite sure if this is a good or bad thing), once inside, one could not help but raise an eyebrow at the top-to-toe cowboy saloon decor. Cowboy hats, soft-porn-style photos of scantily clad glamour models in cowgirl outfits, empty whisky bottles and the odd whip are scattered about; not to mention the fake wooden-log walled room. Cheesy? Oh yes. Particularly amusing was the 10 Indian Commandments poster hidden at the back of the bar. The poster (in all seriousness) proclaimed the following: ‘Show great respect for your fellow beings’; ‘Work together for the benefit of all mankind’; ‘Give assistance and kindness wherever needed’. The irony of these statements was not lost on any one of us. Maybe, just maybe, if we had a few more beers chased down by shots of JD, we too could be ‘kind’ to one of the bar’s portly regulars. Maybe. Housepour $15, Bottled beer $14.

Definately my favourite hang-out in Singapore! Much quieter and classier place than, say, The Crazy Horse or Pink PussyCat

No pressure, sit, have look around, have a beer, listen to the music, it's not so load, so talk to people there. It is also good place to meet Thai ladies, or other women. Relax and have a chat with the women.
