Kandi Bar

Seemingly less of a funky, cool, chill-out hotspot and more a rowdy, bloke-ish sports bar these days, Studio 54-esque Kandi Bar still pulls in the crowds, though not necessarily the gorgeous model types any more. The TV screens showing football detract from the bright candy-coloured lights and the still-fun-and-soulful house music – it’s a bit disappointing but, then again, this is Singapore. On a brighter note, there’s the exquisitely crafted, Karim Rashid-designed, petal-shaped Veuve Clicquot Loveseat, so that those so-in-love/lust can sip champers while staring into each others’ eyes.
