If you think microbreweries were spawned from the minds of businessmen who think only in dollars and cents, then you’ve probably not met Ernest. After years of tinkering at home with his beer-making equipment, the self-trained brewer finally took the plunge and opened up his own brewhouse. Before you mistake ‘home-made’ for ‘substandard’, these brews have been painstakingly formulated and intensively tested. So much so that some patrons have even commented on Red Dot’s superior quality compared to other microbreweries. A ‘barbie’ (barbecue) adjacent to the building is also in the works, as according to Ernest, nothing pairs better with a good, golden brew than some piping hot kebabs.

Red Dot Brewery is located at Dempsey Hill Green.

Service isn't that bad. The beers are great. Stop crying about it.

Went as a party of 20. Was served last. Almost 2 hours after the order was taken. Was told the chef didn't get my order, when I asked after the hour. No complimentary drink, no discount and still waited another 56 minutes. Food and beer was good. Overall not a very good experience.

I was at Red Dot Brewhouse last night with some friends. The beer was really good but unfortunately the service sucks! It took them 1 hour 15 mins to serve our dinner!
