EmailStepping into this spanking-new club, you can’t help but think that it resembles a lavish karaoke lounge or hostess-style nightclub. Its glossy black walls and equally glossy black floors reek of snobbery and you half expect a perfectly coiffed mamasan to come greet you and lead you by the hand to some plush booth where girls await. But that’s not the sort of place this is, despite appearances. Rather, at 10,000 sq ft,it’s touted as Singapore’s largest international live music venue. This behemoth will focus on international acts from the United States, Britain and Australia on its two-month rotating playbill.
Mon & Tue free and Members Night ─ members enjoy 40% off bottles and 30% off loose drinks. Wed & Thu ladies night men $25, women free; includes free-flow vodka drinks and lychee martinis. Fri & Sat men $25, women $22.

Was there with my frenz, 6 of us and was really disappointed wif the bouncer. He looked at all of us from head to toe & toe to head,& said that the age limit for ladies is 26 and 29 for guys! What!!! I've called the management & was informed that minimum for ladies is 18 and guy is 23. My guy frenz who are like 18 only, manage to enter before! Does The Arena judge and choose customer by their outlook to go in...???! Bad reputation, wont go there animo!!

The Arena at Clarke Quay claims to be Singapore's number 1 hip-hop club. It's flashy and gaudy, boasting "the world's most technologically advanced lighting, sound and pyrotechnic equipment." And, it would seem, fireworks are a distinct possiblity: police were called recently after a patron was slapped with his bill, literally, by a member of the management. Give it a miss.

Was there for the 1st time wif my bf... Fell in love wif the music, so durin Xmas eve, i gather my gerlfren to party & they are all lovin it... We are comin back this NY eve... SO, see u in Arena..

party like a rockstar,shout like a superstar!! this one hotspot is damn crazy!!! happening and most of all,you have fun through the nite!! friendly ppl frm various countries,hot chicks and HOT HOT hunks!! i love it!
