It’s hard to miss this retro pub’s groovy yellow-submarine inspired sign, psychedelic interior and pop-art paintings. Sadly, the swingin’ 60s disco theme stops there – resident band John Molina & Kreuger rock the joint Mondays to Saturdays, with hits from the 80’s onwards. Between sets, rambunctious young revellers and a few loose-limbed office types shimmy to top-of-the-pops hits spun by resident DJ Peter Ang. Try their speciality jelly-filled cocktails like Jello Punch – rum, triple sec, strawberry jelly and pineapple and orange juice – or Jelita Valley, a zesty tequila, triple sec and lime jelly concoction.
