This genial joint, tucked away in a food court off Bukit Timah Road, is more than a pub – it’s a one-stop shop. The busy bar fronts three affordable eateries serving northern Indian, Thai-Vietnamese and Western fare. Meanwhile, the 50-50 mix of locals and chilled-out foreigners sups European beer in a landscaped garden complete with a mini-fish pond; the whole enterprise feels like a Goan-style resort bar. The kitchens close way too early, and the bar staff is charmingly amateurish, but with its low bar prices (a pint of Stella Artois is just $7), heavy-drinking patrons and infectious ambience, this is the least Singaporean bar in Singapore.
Drinks $5-$10.
