This smoking yet non-smoky bar serves up some of the best happy hour deals in Chinatown. (The name means Chinatown in Spanish, by the way.) And after nagging from punters, it’s now open during the day. Whereas you used to have to rely on other restaurants for sustenance, Barrio has now opened up its own kitchen. Try the bruschetta ($10 for a dozen), which will more than keep the hunger pangs at bay until dinner. A happy-hour glass of wine is $6, rising to $12 during regular hours.
Barrio Chino was included in our recent Eye on the ball feature.

I strongly invite anyone with a shred of decency to avoid this bar, as its customers are the shame of Singapore.
Every weekend, they not only invade the road (making passage difficult for taxis and residents), not only they spill their drinks and vomit on the street, last night they simply took the whole street by storm - going as far as standing in front of the cab and lowering their pants!
These drunken punks should not be allowed to roam freely but that's what this bar brings about every weekend and this is what is tolerated here. Avoid!
