If you are looking to see and be seen, this is most definitely not the place. However, if you just want a spot to shoot some sh*t (or, more specifically, some darts), this may be a new hidden gem. What used to be just one of the many Asian furniture stores, spread all along South Bridge Road, has now been converted into a bar. While many beautiful chests and paintings are still for sale – the owner has a passion she’s not willing to give up – the focus has definitely shifted to the bullseye and cheap booze.
A pitcher of Tiger runs for $18 and is served with sembei and prawn crackers. Show up on a Friday night and they’ll even toss in a free plate of whatever’s cookin’. We scored a bowl of chicken curry that one of the patrons claimed as ‘the best in Singapore’. The music fits the crowd; they were probably hip in the ’80s, but have been layin’ low ever since (think ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Money for Nothing’).

I truly agree Dartz place is a hidden gem. It might not be the the fanciest, but has awesome atmosphere, unique ambient, and the owners are welcoming and attentive.Really great just to chill, throw some darts and drink a beer or two.

The marker on your location map is incorrect...the Dartz Place is directly across the road from the end of Pagoda Street on South Bridge Road

At the end of Pagoda Street is a newfound gem; very cold draught beer $5-00 Schooners; wonderful family Licensees; very friendly atmosphere immediately across the road from Chinatown Markets, Hawker food, Tailors and famous Indian Temple..chuck a dart and Gididindya!
