I went on a Monday night way too early looking for some 'company'. The place was dead so I waited outside for it to pick up a bit. Then BLAM in walks the hottest woman I have ever seen. She was 5 foot 1 and stacked young and hot. [The rest of the comment has been edited - Ed]

Had a similar experience like Heather. With a group of white guys but I was the only one asked to pay for cover. All my white friends was let in without paying for cover. Was stopped by this non-Singaporean Chinese whom I suspected to be Malaysian. The whole bunch of staff manning the entrance are foreigners. Imagine being discriminated against in my own country by foreigners! Never again will I go there and will help spread the message around.

great place in Sing to let off steam! local rock bands first rate! only rock bar I could find in singapore for that matter. Watch out overly prices hookers (up to 250 sing dollars) and transexuals pretending to be chicks!!! image of hell? its not that bad, but the drinks like everywhere in sing are pricey

I worked there for a day and I didnt get paid. All a bunch of crap they came up with saying I gotta tie up my hair, gotta leave my cell phone in the office while at work. Declare and leave $ wallet inside as well. I couldnt stand that bunch of bull so I left. Prior to leaving Ipanema, I asked for my pay coming from a [deleted] manager don't expect nothing man. Yeah we will call ya and then no damn news. Lousy work environment I wont even patronize such a lousy sleazy place. Job seekers who happen to spot a job ad hiring at Ipanema y'all know watta do.

Visited the place last month with 3 Caucasians and 1 Asian friend. Upon going in, the doorman stopped me and my Asian friend and asked us to pay for our drinks outside before allowing us to go in. My Caucasian friends were allowed not stopped. We asked why and the reply was we must pay for drinks before being allowed to get in. And we noticed a few Caucasians went in without even being stopped or asked to pay for drinks. We asked why is this so and they told us they can either buy inside or outside.... What an answer? HELLO...DISCRIMINATION. Just because we are not Caucasian, that's why. When we got in, the club was overcrowded, more than the law allowed, 400++; cause we barely can breath.... After the drink, we left..and we will never go there again..as we feel discriminated and embarrassed in front of our friends.
