The Fullerton Bay Hotel's rooftop bar is a sight to behold
The Fullerton Bay Hotel’s prime location among the skyscrapers of the CBD makes Lantern a prime target for anyone peeking out of their office window. The 25m pool, border of whirlpool niches, faux-rattan cabanas and 5m-wide lantern-inspired bar certainly catch the eye. The atmosphere at this site formerly occupied by Clifford Pier is vibrant without being intrusive; it’s not difficult to have a conversation while listening to the smooth vocals of the lively Latin house band. While you won’t be able to take a swim in the pool (it’s for hotel guests only), we’re sure you can sneak in a quick foot dip.

Rediculous prices; even for a luxury hotel; S$20 for a small bottle of Tiger. And that was just one of four different beers they had, what a selection for a luxury hotel. Rip off - is all which come to my mind about this hotel

And it gets even better. In order to reserve a table now even if you are just having a quick pre dinner drink, you are REQUIRED to spend $400, that's one expensive aperatif! Of course, the nice lady on the phone told me you could stand by the bar but no chairs, no stools and no minimum spend. I wonder if they make you wear a "poor person" sign around your neck though?? All a bit pretentious don't you think?

i wish people not to go there because of the crappy attitude at the door. They make you feel so small and they are so much better than you.

The attitude of the manager just sucks. The way they treat their P-T staffs is like hell.

Agree with Not Happy. Expensive cocktail served in cheap-looking plastic glass. This must be the only bar in Singapore uses plastic glass. Standard of service and food are poor.
We were told initially there wasn't any table available despite making resveration 1 week in advance and the bar only 50% full at 6.30pm.
Only after we made some noise, we were ushered to a small table with 4 tiny chairs. Very uncomfortable. View? what view? If you want to enjoy full view of marina bay and MBS, go to One Fullerton next door, pay less but better view.

Great location but we obviously weren't cool enough to get a decent table so lacked atmosphere. Music wasn't even close to what you would expect. Generic hotel. I've been told that this review is actually being kind. Don't waste your time.

Sound like an interesting place to check out. BTw, what has having a degree got to do with running business. Does it really meant that good business acumen equals to having a Harvard University Business Degree? Grow up!

There have been huge parties at the top of Lantern the past few nights and look like Lantern is set to be the up-and-coming rooftop hotspot in town. Sorry that Jordan did not get invited to the 'right' party on the right night. Checked out Oyster Bar next door, and it seems to me the range of oysters are listed on the menu all right. Btw, if Jordan can't read the menu and can't differentiate 'there degrees' from 'their degrees', then Jordan, I wonder which packet of cornflakes you got "you're" degree from.

got all dolled up went to the opening night and there was no one there. What a fizzer the hotel put nothing on no party, no anything. They made some pathetic excuse that they had an opening in the afternoon. That was not advertised. Far out you would think if they want to attract a clientele then opening night is a party!! Same with the oyster bar next door . The pathetic menu doesn't even list the type of oysters they have. Oyster bar? How do the owners and people running these establishments get there degrees? In a packet of cornflakes. They have no idea.
