This era’s answer to the shuttered Saxophone Bar, Anywhere and Swing venues, Bojangles is more than just a jazz and rhythm-and-blues bar: it also covers funk and Motown from the ’60s and ’70s.

The low ceiling, bar seats, yellow lights, and colourful mural-laden walls with photo-framed music greats make a great backdrop to a veteran house band fronted by local guitar virtuoso Paul Ponnudorai.
