Billed as a ‘sanctuary for fools’ and a‘canvas for the budding artist’, Loof is an eccentric rooftop bar. A playful contrast toits neighbour, the Raffles Hotel, it attracts an easy-going, eclectic crowd (it’s particularly popular with media types). Punters relax on leather loungers and the deck is lit by a huge electric billboard. Pray for rain – when the heavens open, drinks are two for the price of one.

probably the best bar in singapore. great vibe, superb cocktails. always packed so try to make reservations.

Last week of December? With all the rain? I would prefer to go to Suntec's Balaclava. However if outdoor is really what you want, I think you can do One Rochester, Cicada or Oosh.
