Time Out says

A recent addition to the line-up of rooftop bars around town is Room 101, taking over the space that was once Pasha Bar situated. On the second floor of boutique hotel The Sultan (right next to The Sultan Jazz Club), this cosy hidden gem has room for about 50 people, plus an outdoor lounge with two private cabanas (for eight to ten people) secluded from view. It’s a classy affair, with a touch of contemporary, quirky elements. Under romantic lighting, cosy leather couches sit by the wall, surrounding a central bar with a lit-up bar counter and stylistic cartoon illustrations of musicians above.

The friendly bartenders serve up a range of unique cocktails like the Sinfully Martini ($15), a mix of vodka, frangelico, peanut butter jelly, chocolate syrup and milk and the Kafir Lime Sour ($20), a Whisky Sour with a tom yum twist; they’ll soon be heading in the direction of molecular mixology.

Accordingly, the crowd here is older and more sophisticated, which is reflected in the laidback, ambient house tunes on loop. It’s a neat, intimate spot for after-work drinks and private parties, with a tiny area for a band or DJ to play when the occasion calls for it.
