House cocktails in Kampong Glam
It’s black, it’s white, and it’s got stencils of furniture on its walls – welcome to the modern young local’s home. Designed to mimic the personal, intimate space of a studio apartment, this cocktail bar can hold up to 40 sitting and 100 standing. The quality menu is playful: as standards, Hendrick’s gin ($14), Ketel One and Grey Goose vodkas ($12), Macallan 12 years whisky ($16) and Ron Zacapa rum ($16) are available on the rocks. A seven-strong list of signature cocktails includes Room Mate (Grey Goose, strawberry and cheese, $18), Dark Pleasure (a blueberry and vanilla mojito, $18) and The Gardener (basil and Hendrick’s gin, $18). The finger food menu is passable, but what can you expect at a bachelorettes’ pad with a bar feature?
