Wild Oats

Far, far away from any sleazy pick-up joint, this delightful indooroutdoor bar, surrounded by leafy trees and pot plants, is tucked away on top of Mount Emily. With tall tables and chairs for the smokers, complemented by a handful of low-lying lounge chairs, this venue is the perfect spot for a cocktail or two on a warm, clear evening. There’s a long list to choose from, including one house favourite – and now one of our favourites – the ginger and lime sake gimlet. Others worth noting and quaffing, are the lemongrass blue margarita (it’s massive) and a rather lethal Long Island iced tea.
