This club has one of the worse service I have seen. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Music wise is really shabby, compare to zouk. Of cos to put such comparison is actually an insult to zouk.

I was totally outraged at the state of this establishment and its staff are and hopefully i will be able to say 'were' utterly disgraceful.
My boyfriend was dragged out of the club like a criminal and then ended up falling down their stone stairs because if the brutality and force that 4 or more bouncers used to remove him, purely for not realising that he was not allowed on the podium.
Instead of patiently allowing the poor guy to remove himself from the aforementioned podium, one bouncer drafted in 3 others in the space of a millisecond to forcibly remove him whilst i screamed at them to stop because they were hurting him, only to be totally ignored.
Horrific, disturbing and truly disgusting. Furthermore, as my boyfriend was 'escorted' out, the rest of the bouncers outside watched and laughed. They were distinctly less amused when the police and the ambulances turned up.
I hope this place will be shut down or an entire new work force assigned to every single one of those guy's positions. NEVER EVER RISK IT. Rather stay at home. It is THAT bad.

There is a huge crowd of teenagers. I was there at 11pm at it was filling up but no one was dancing..the atmosphere was that of a afternoon tea dance...!

I don't like going to Butter as each time I walk into the club, someone throws up on my shoes and I have since given up on stepping foot in there. But that's a personal choice.
Reading the comments on this page shows that they are consistently good in something - BAD SERVICE! For a club that has not done much to improve public opinion since 2009 is a little worrying. Guess I won't be stopping by anytime soon.

Horrible bouncers who treats adults like scums, what's with this!
Posted on Mon 28 Mar 2011 08:52:22
what's with the snaking queues? oh i get it, butter wants to mimic top notch new york or los angeles clubs....you know, to give the idea that it's SO HOT that it's totally packed inside and people are 'lucky' if they can get in. The bouncers are assholes. But not bigger assholes than those at attica.

hi, i have this issue when i was queuing up to make a payment for entrance fees. and this bouncer suddenly asked me when was the last time i came. who knew that he told me this sentence, "sorry, you are banned from here. so i couldn't let you enter into the club.". so at a later time, a couple of my friends and i had asked the bouncer what was the reason that i was banned, instead of saying the reason, he still gave us a warning before handling the case to police.

HORRIBLE STAFF! I will nvr go again. Got so many better places to party where u will feel gd spending ur money. They are too YA-YA aredi. Why make them rich when they treat u so poorly!

Don't bother if your above 12 and have any expectations of service. They'll treat you like your 15 and try make you re-queue cos their poor-quality entry stamps smudge after you wash your hands in the loo. Y would any female forge re-entry stamps on a night when women get in for free? Not worth it.

I think the establishment should seriously look into underaged kids patronising the place.

if u care about justice and being treated with respect this is one place where u can spend a few hundred bucks a nite and for harmless impersonation (over the age limit)u can treated like criminal, got handcuffed and hauled to police station lock up with tatooed gangsters for more than 12 hours unable to sleep and parents worried stiff not knowing the whereabouts. Do let all your frens know of this. No one treat their customers liek criminal when all they are guilty of is trying to get in to give money to the club!!! BOYCOTT the place..if u stand for justice and respect

I have known Butter in all three of its incarnations, from Cocco Latte, to Butter Factory at Robinson Quay, and now to Butter Factory at One Fullerton. In its pass lives Butter actually played Hip Hop all night, yes, it might have been a bit commercial at times but the DJs always pleased my Hip Hop soul. But now in its latest incarnation, there is no way in hell Butter Factory should bill itself as a Hip Hop club. The music format has gone to crap, which I find slightly funny considering the DJs in the Hip Hop room are the same as DJs that Butter has had since the beginning, so where did it all go wrong? I have gone to the new Butter many times, each time hoping for a return to the original Butter Factory music formula, but each time I have been totally disappointed. So if you are looking for Hip Hop I say give Butter Factory a pass, I know I will.

I use to really love going to Butter for the great music, it was one of the few places you could get Hip Hop. With the new venue the music has changes, i have been on a number of occasions and have been very disappointed, you go to the Hip Hop room and its more like the pop room. I have been there really early when nobody is there and they sometime actual keep it real, but as soon as people start arriving it goes down hill. If you want Hip Hop don't go to butter, they have forgotten how to keep it real, its really quite a disgrace that they call themselves a Hip Hop club.
