Hob nob with the elite at this three-storey space, conceived by nightlife veteran Sharma Das and fashion mogul Andrew Carver, the men behind Russian-themed Dom Lounge at MBS. While the first floor’s sophisticated and intimate boutique club opened last month, the membersonly second level lounge and the alfresco rooftop bar (the only one on Circular Road) are set to open in the upcoming months. There’s no cover charge here, but you’ll have to make a reservation to get on the guestlist before you head over (or you’ll be waiting in line). Similar to the concept of Dom, the French-inspired French-inspired Châteaux (which means ‘castle’ or ‘lavish home’) seeks to be a home away from home for party-goers, with its emphasis on dark woods, rich reds and plush fabrics. They’ve only got two cosy VIP areas (min spend $2,000) on the first level nestled in the corners slightly away from the dance floor (so you can people-watch), but the vibe of the club is all-around exclusive, offering special service rituals (like lit-up bottles in cages) and slick house tunes to groove to.
