Living up to its name, this gem of a bar can be a tough one to find. Once you’ve nailed down the location – Circular Road is the parallel street behind Boat Quay – and made it up the three flights of stairs without running out of breath, you’ll be delighted by what you find. Inside, the mismatched furniture, low lighting, and oddly soothing pink and burgundy walls strip the bar of any airs. Hideout’s patrons are not there to be seen or make PC small talk – all they want is to sit back, relax and shoot the breeze with their friends.
Indie bands play on Wednesdays, DJs spin house beats on Fridays, and on all other nights the DJ rotates between hip hop, funk and jazz.

Went there based on seeing the site listed here on TO website. Good friendly mix of people (U.S.A., Brits, Locals, Aussies, UNK??), lucked into a good comedy show "Drunk Joe" a F$%#*^ funny dude. Also live music show on the same night!!! No one trying to flaunt, no stuck-up phony people, just a relaxed good time.
