The Shack

If a sundowner on Sentosa’s Tanjong Beach is what you’re after, and you’re cool with cocktails served up in plastic cups by a grungy and bare-chested (actually, scrap that, nearly nude) barman/DJ, then this is the spot for you. Lo & Behold’s latest drinking hole, The Shack, is a timber-covered shipping container-turned-bar, with a covered pergola, one bench seat and a few old oil barrels for tables. The bar itself is simple and small. The venue is just temporary, holding the place while Lo & Behold builds Sentosa’s next big restaurant- cum-bar behind it, right on KM8’s gravesite. If you’re hungry, there’s a packet of crisps or two to choose from, and don’t forget to show up sporting flip-flops and swimmers. Come prepared with low expectations and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
