When this local outfit first opened its doors we were unsure how long it would stay open. A local microbrewery, seriously? Months on, it is owner and brewmaster Ernest Ng who is having the last laugh. The bar continues to attract a regular clientele and is even filled on a Tuesday night. While it could be argued that the patrons are attracted to the food and lovely sylvan environment, one cannot argue that point too much when most tables sport a jug or two of the homebrew. The Monster Green Lager’s Hulk-like hue comes from the addition of spirulina and may not suit a classic beer drinker’s palate, so order the hoppy Summer Ale before you reach your final verdict.
