Ghost Riders stars Nicholas Cage and Eva Mendes reunite in this film. Cage plays Terence McDonaugh, a cocaine and painkiller addict policeman who investigates a family being murdered because of drugs. Wanting to get out of problems with his drug-dealing prostitute girlfriend (Mendes), gambling losses and police property thefts, he starts working with the drug dealers and his murder case becomes unresolved.
