The universe is filled with ruthless rogues, surly peasants and petty lords. Their main concern is not to get eaten by mutant dragon-like creatures. In the middle of this are two amateur dragon hunters: Lian-Chu (Lindon in the French original; Whitaker in the dubbed English version) and Gwizdo (Timsit). They dream of owning a mussel farm some day, but that dream is put on hold when the niece of Lord Arnold engages them to slay the World Eater, a dragon that returns every 30 seasons to breathe fire. Stunning.
