A Design Film Festival 2014

This year's A Design Film Festival showcases 12 films about design and its various subcultures, six of which will be making their Asian premieres. Set to the theme of 'On a Scale of Art to Design', three curated shorts about the blurring boundaries between art and design will also be screened. Plus, Hakusho: The Story of Rice (pictured) by Yu Yamanaka will open the festival in its world premiere, and you'll get a chance to meet the director as he introduces the film and takes part in a Q&A. Tickets to Hakusho cost $25; tickets to all other films are $15.
