Time Out says

Republic Polytechnic’s annual Ignite! Music Festival is back with a bang this year. Themed Passion and Compassion, the youth-led festival is jam packed with performances by talents from the local music event. The event aims to provide a stage for local artists and bands to showcase their musical talents in addition to shining a light towards youth volunteerism.

Set to run on July 29 and 30, RP’s main stage will feature performances by ShiGGa Shay, Marian Carmel and Feez. Joining the list is The New Modern and Aggressive Raisin Cat, each bringing their own flair to the live stage on Day 1. The festival continues on Day 2 with a list of stars featuring LAYYI, Rangga Jones, Daniel Sid and Cadence.

The two-day mainstage festival will feature 14 bands across two stages and will take place at the Republic Cultural Centre at Republic Polytechnic.

A new addition to the festival’s line of events is Ignite! Incubation Sessions, where participants get to attend specially curated sessions with veterans in the Singapore’s music industry – Russel Goh, Jayni Wong, and Marc Nair. These veterans will share their experiences, unique insights, and their best advice on how to build a career in the local music scene. For more information, head to Ignite! Music Festival page.
