Featuring the talents of the People’s Association’s Orkestra Melayu Singapura, this concert combines videography with old-fashioned wayang kulit (shadow theatre) to pay homage to Singaporean, Malaysian and Indonesian pop culture from the ’50s. Guest vocalists include 2004 Singapore Idol winner Taufik Batisah and traditional singer Elfee R Ismail.

My sis and I were pleasantly surprise at the extent of this musical event. It was done in a tasteful manner and the program was well thought through. I hope there will be more on this in future. Kudos to People's Association and Orchestra Melayu Singapura! it was thoroughly entertaining:)
