Acclaimed mezzo-soprano Rebecca Chellappah puts together an attractive programme of Schumann’s ‘Frauenliebe und Leben’, Barber’s haunting ‘Hermit Songs’, Chinese poetry set by Berkeley and Bantock, and even Mandarin art songs. Lim Yan accompanies on the piano.
