Albert Tiu, assistant professor for piano at the conservatory, plays the solo part in Rachmaninoff’s ‘Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini’ (or ‘Rach-Pag’) with its famous 18th variation. The concert starts with the potboiler ‘William Tell’ Overture and ends with Schubert’s well-loved Fifth Symphony.
